From document upload to certified delivery

Linguacommerce automates every step around the translation itself. Your actual work — translating, certifying, and signing — stays entirely yours.

For the buyer

Upload documents, receive a quote by email, pay securely online, and track their certified translation through a dedicated portal. No back-and-forth. No chasing.

For you (the translator)

Review documents in your admin console, inspect legibility and scope, issue a quote in two clicks, certify the translation, and upload the deliverable when done. Everything else is handled.

A single order, from start to finish

1
Buyer

Document upload

The buyer visits your storefront on your custom domain, fills in a short form, and uploads scans or photos of their documents. They provide a contact email for notifications. That's it — no account creation required.

Documents supported: PDF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, DOCX, and more. Multiple files per order.
2
You

Document review & quotation

You receive a notification that a new order has been submitted. In your admin console, you open the task and review the uploaded originals. For certified translation, this inspection step is essential: you need to assess legibility (especially for handwritten documents), page count, and any jurisdiction-specific certification requirements before committing to a price.

When ready, you enter your price and issue the quotation in a few clicks. The platform sends the client a professionally formatted email with a tokenised payment link unique to their order.

Why async? Certified translation pricing is never instant — a faded handwritten birth certificate and a clean typed diploma are completely different jobs. The async flow lets you quote accurately without a real-time back-and-forth.

Buyer

Payment

The buyer clicks the payment link in their email. They land on a Stripe-hosted checkout page pre-filled with the order details. They enter their card and pay.

Payment confirmation happens instantly. The platform advances the task status to In progress, notifies you, and generates an invoice automatically.

Tokenised links mean safety: Each payment link is tied to one specific order and can only be used once. There's no risk of accidental double payment.
4
You

Translation & certification

You perform the translation in your preferred tool — Word, a CAT tool, or whatever you normally use. When the translation is complete, you apply your certification or sworn statement as required by your jurisdiction and the client's intended use.

Linguacommerce is commerce and workflow infrastructure only. It does not perform, validate, or certify translations — that remains entirely your professional and legal responsibility, as it would be for any work delivered by other means.
5
You

Delivery

Upload the completed translation to the task in your admin console. The buyer receives a notification email with a link to their tracking portal, where they can download the deliverable directly.

The task is marked Complete. The order record — including source documents, deliverable, and invoice — is stored permanently and queryable at any time.

Every order moves through five clear states

Both you and your buyer can see the current status at any time.
